Patient Transport Officers & Ambulance Attendants
Established in 1993, G4S Health Services is the single largest provider of non emergency patient transport services to Ambulance Victoria, as well as to major public hospitals, the Transport Accident Commission (TAC), the Work cover Authority and NETS.

G4S Health Services are currently recruiting for qualified:

Ambulance Transport Attendants (ATA’s)
Patient Transport Officers (PTO’s)
Applicants seeking employment with G4S must hold one of the following qualifications:
Certificate III in Non Emergency Patient Transport;
Diploma of Paramedic Science (Emergency Care);
Bachelor of Health Science (Paramedic) with a statement of equivalence to Cert III or Diploma;
Registered Nurse Division I with current experience in intensive, coronary or emergency care and having completed a bridging course in ambulance practice; or
Or equivalent qualification recognised as equivalent to one of the above by an appropriate Registered Training Organisation.

Those with one of the above qualifications are also required to have completed the driving module HLTAMBT301B – Transport non-emergency patients.

It is highly desirable that staff complete PUAVEH001A – Drive vehicles under operational conditions, and HLTAMBT402C – Transport emergency patients.

Previously attainable qualifications in the ambulance service are also valid providing you have worked within the NEPT or ambulance sector within the last two years.

Diploma, or Associate Diploma, of Health Science (Ambulance)
Certificate of equivalence to the Associate Diploma;

Applicants must have a full driver's license, be physically able to perform the duties required, able to write and converse fluently in English and have an acceptable report from a National Police Check.
