The School is a diverse enterprise operating over multiple sites, with Queensland Health, Queensland Ambulance Service and private health service providers as major partners. Geographically, the School extends throughout Queensland with major sites in Brisbane, the outer metropolitan areas, and a number of rural and remote area facilities throughout the rest of the state as well as offshore clinical schools in New Orleans in the USA, and in Brunei, SE Asia.
The role
The School of Medicine is currently looking to fill its student coordinator position within the Paramedic Science Program based at the Ipswich Campus. The successful appointee will contribute to optimal learning and teaching experiences for paramedic students through the delivery of high quality student academic support services. The role works closely with the Program Director and School Administrative Officer to ensure seamless program delivery and student and stakeholder engagement.
The person
Applicants should possess an undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. Ideally the successful individual will have previous administrative experience and dealings with the needs of tertiary students in a University or similar organisation. Excellent interpersonal skills and organisational skills are a must, as well as high level computer skills in a variety of packages. The appointee will require the ability to foster a client service working environment and build and maintain rapport with professional and academic staff, students and other stakeholders.Remuneration
This is a full time continuing appointment at HEW Level 5. The remuneration package will be in the range $58,822 - $65,880 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $68,821 - $77,079).Enquiries
