The Role:
CQUniversity is seeking to appoint a creative and dynamic academic staff member to actively contribute to the delivery of its paramedic science program. The successful individual will also contribute to the development of future undergraduate and postgraduate programs and be actively engaged in developing a research culture. This exciting opportunity involves interprofessional collaborations, state-of-the-art teaching facilities that include high fidelity clinical simulation manikins and emerging research opportunities.
Remuneration:
Total remuneration ranges from Lecturer: $86,687 to $121,466 per annum and Senior Lecturer: $125,304 to $144,092 per annum and includes salary from Lecturer: $86,687 to $102,943 per annum and Senior Lecturer: $106,196 to $122,119 per annum, plus employer superannuation and annual leave loading.
Academic Professional Development
Given CQUniversity's agenda of becoming a leading distance educational provider, the successful applicant must complete the first course within the Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Education, which is the 'Nature of Learning & Teaching' (course code OLTC20003) within the probation period, unless there is evidence of equivalent prior learning (there is a process in place for Recognition of Prior Learning: RPL). This course is available across all teaching Terms (1, 2 and 3).The successful applicant is also required to attend the one-day 'Foundations Orientation' induction program which runs at the start of terms 1 and 2. Both requirements will support the ongoing academic professional development in learning and teaching.
