Purpose of Position
Support and assist the Clinical Education Manager by developing, implementing and evaluating clinical and competency based training and education programs to support the delivery of the highest quality pre-hospital patient care.

Total remuneration package valued at $125,133 pa (including salary $105,087 pa to $112,215 pa, annual leave loading and employers contribution to superannuation). Salary packaging arrangements providing additional benefits are also available.
Employment Conditions:
- Appointment to this position is subject to a satisfactory conduct and services checks, which includes referee/supervisor check, a review of National Criminal Record Check, a review of Service Check Register, a review of sick leave, ability to undertake full duties of the position and clearances from the Professional Standards and Conduct Unit, Ambulance Education Centre and Infection Control.
- An eligibility list may be created for future vacancies.
- No Ambulance accommodation is provided.
- No entitlement to Transferred Employees Benefit (TEB).
The successful applicant:
- Will be appointed under the terms and conditions of the Operational Ambulance Officers (State) Award.
- Be required to maintain current Certificate to Practice.
- Will be required to carry out general general duties and work rostered hours as required to enable a range of activities that involves both weekend work and various operational shifts.
- Be required to enter into annual Performance Development Program.

Selection Criteria • Demonstrated experience in the development, presentation and evaluation of competency-based education programs.
• Effective interpersonal, presentation and group facilitation skills.
• Strong written and oral communication, negotiation and problem resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently and provide effective team leadership in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement fair, equitable and effective assessment instruments.
• Knowledge and demonstrated ability to interpret and implement NSW Ambulance policies, practices and procedures and related legislation.
• Competency in the use of contemporary educational and information technologies within the teaching/learning environment.
• Paramedic Specialist (ICP) and/or advanced education, science, health or allied health academic qualifications. Must have TAE 40110 Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or equivalent qualification and a current Certificate to Practice.
