Medics and Paramedics (Permanent and Casual Positions available)

Established in 1991 and ISO 9001 accredited Paramedical Services is Australia's leading private provider of Professional Non-Emergency Medical Support Services. As a Medic with Paramedical Services you will provide key medical support in the following areas:

• Event Medical Support. Such as Motorsports. (Track & Motor Cross), varying football codes, Equestrian, Watersports, School Sporting Events, Corporate Functions and Entertainment Events
• Work Injury Response. Our fleet of fully equipped ambulances provide24/7medical support to work place injuries
• Patient Transport. Providing transport of patients from hospital to hospital, airport to hospital and other clinics
• On-Site Medical Support. Based at rail, construction and mine sites
• First Aid Training. As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), Paramedical Services provides First Aid & other courses. Opportunities exist for applicants wishing to obtain instructor level

Note: no FIFO roles available.
Role pre-requisites:

• Must hold a current police check (issued in last 12 months)
• Hold a current working with children's check
• Provide an RTA Driving Record (History)

Successful applicants will possess:

• Minimum Cert IV in Health Care (Ambulance) qualifications are essential
• Experience in injury management
• Hold a full drivers licence
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise at all levels, in a diverse environment
• A flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to business requirements and hours including a shift roster that includes weekends and public holidays
• A positive can-do attitude with a professional work ethos
• The ability to remain calm under pressure and implement the principles of pre-hospital care under challenging circumstances
• The ability to maintain sensitivity and confidentiality at all times
• Self motivation, with a commitment to improvement and ongoing development
• The ability to work effectively in a small team or independently when required
