We are currently seeking an experienced Medic/Emergency Response Coordinator to join our Davyhurst team on a 14 days on 7 days roster on a FIFO or DIDO work arrangement.

The Role

Reporting to the Davyhurst Registered Manager, the Medic/Emergency Response Coordinator will assist in the implementation and management of the Risk Management and Health and Safety programs within Davyhurst, providing key medical support to the Mine Rescue and Crisis Management function.

Key accountabilities:
24 hour on-call Medical and Emergency response support
Ensuring relevant Emergency Management resources including facilities, people, equipment, supplies, policies and procedures meet the daily needs of the site
Supporting the implementation of the Risk Management and Health & Safety program including inductions and personal control systems



The Role

As a SMA paramedic, you will be expected to maintain a high level of clinical knowledge and competence.

SMA paramedics provide medical services to a range of events and provide medical support to industrial sites such as mines and work sites across the state.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience within the industry as well as a thorough understanding of the NSW Health Network with particular detail pertaining to paramedics within the NSW Health Network.
