You
may not possess experience within the mining industry. However, you
will have extensive experience in emergency response in either the
Ambulance service or Defence.
Working on an 8/6 you will be
required to accompany Drilling and Heritage teams to various locations
within the Pilbara area. This role will offer diversity and exposure to
various situations within the mining industry.
It is essential that applicants possess the following certificates and licences:
Minimum requirement;
Industrial Medic Minimum Requirement
Cert IV Health Care (Ambulance), Diploma of Paramedical Science would be an advantage
4WD training (RIIVEH305A)
Police Clearance
Driving Licence
Nationally recognised D&A collection certificate
Desirable;
Basic Fire Fighting
HAZMAT
Open circuit SCBA
Rope Rescue
Vehicle Extraction
FIFO from Perth only.
Candidates
must be able to undertake a pre employment medical and complete a
psychometric evaluation. This position will require you to undertake two
days induction in Perth prior to mobilisation. You will also be
required to undertake a Poison Permit Induction
