Thiess Industrial Projects are currently seeking a number of Paramedic / HSE Advisors for ongoing & upcoming works on the QCLNG Upstream Project. The roles will be working on site, and will be bus in bus out from Brisbane, working a 14/7 Roster with camp style accommodation and meals provided. You will be hired as staff for the life of the Project.

The roles will include but not limited to:
Provide first response treatment for all injuries and illnesses to site personnel;
Ensure all injured and ill personnel receive the appropriate level of external care within required time frames;
Contribute to the development of rehabilitation and return to work plans for injured personnel;
Lead and participate in safety and Environmental audits and work area inspections;
Provide advice to construction personnel on risk management strategies and processes;
Ensure all site construction personnel participate in and adopt safe working practices as part of their daily duties and responsibilities;
Provide input to safety training presentations provided by the safety department and assist with training delivery where required;

To be considered, you must have:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field;
Experience working as a Paramedic/HSE Advisor within heavy industry/ construction environment;
Industrial Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic (EMT-P);
Qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field;
Diploma (Assc.) - Applied Health Sciences Pre-Hospital Care (AMBULANCE);
Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment or willingness to obtain;
Possess a high level of communication skill, capable of conversing at all levels with both internal and external stakeholders.
