Currently this dynamic underground mining organisation has an opportunity to join their health and safety team as a Safety Coordinator.

As the Safety Coordinator you will work to ensure a safe and efficient workplace. You will ensure the safety and well being of all staff on a daily basis. You will work closely with the other members of the OHS team and report into the HSE Superintendent. Your work will see you working on policies and procedures within the wider company and site context. This role is a Safety Advisor position so you will be required to complete incident and accident reports where required.

You will have completed the Certificate IV Occupational Health & Safety and have experience as a safety advisor working in an underground operation. Cert IV in TAA or TAE is an advantage but not essential. Further qualifications in First Aid, in particular industrial paramedic will be beneficial.
