Ambulance Attendant

Description
Duties you will be responsible for include amongst others transporting routine and non-emergency patients between health-care facilities and private residences. You must be able to deal with a wide variety of people as your work will involve continuously liaising with Ambulance and health-care employees, patients and the general public in a calm and professional manner. Selection Criteria: Effective interpersonal, listening, written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision and as a team member. Willingness to work shiftwork/rotating shifts. Physically capable of transferring patients, loading/unloading and assisting patients on/off stretchers and in and out of transport vehicles. The ability to use various types of computerised technology and willingness to undertake appropriate training. Holding as a minimum, either an Australian Provisional (P2) or an Australian Unrestricted Driver's Licence upon application.
