Advanced Care Paramedic (Mining)

Due to our continued growth we are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced Advanced Care Paramedics for a FIFO role in Central Queensland, flying out of Brisbane on a 2 weeks on 2 weeks off roster. We are seeking a goal orientated person with a strong work ethic who has the skills and experience to work in the challenging environments we occupy.

Ideally with a medical and or rescue background from the military, state ambulance, rescue helicopter and mining industry, you MUST have as a minimum:

Diploma of Paramedical Science (Ambulance) or higher
Drug and Alcohol Screening qualification
Coal Board Generics above and underground
Coal Board Medical
Mining Supervisor Competencies’ (S1,2,3)
Excellent professional presentation skills
Exceptional communication skills
A current and clean Qld Manual Drivers Licence
A minimum 4 years experience on road or in pre-hospital and or mining environment

Desirable qualifications:
Breathing Apparatus Certified
Vertical Rescue Certified
Confined Space Certified
Return to work co-ordinators Certification
Current certificate to practice with QLD Ambulance or other state Ambulance Service
Cert IV TAE
