A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Nurse to join their team of experts as a Medical Administrator
Working on an even 3:3 rotation FIFO to Chinchilla, Queensland, you will be providing support to the Rig Manager with regards to Safety, Training and Administration. As well as this you will hold the primary function of providing the initial medical response to any incidents that may occur on site.
As the Medic Administrator your responsibilities will also include, but are not limited to;
Ensuring patient records are maintained and that all occurrences of illness and injury are reported immediately to the Rig Manager
Monitor health and hygiene issues at camp and rig sites; and report all incidents or injuries which occur, regardless of seriousness
Physically check and restock all first aid stations, chemical showers and eyewash stations, including managing stock control and administering all drugs and medicines to patients
Maintain MSDS records for all chemicals at work and camp sites and conduct training as required by the company/client where necessary
Maintain, update and submit all company paperwork and reports in a timely and orderly fashion
To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 5 years demonstrated pre-hospital experience in emergency nursing, ambulance or remote environments. As well as this you will have the following;
