Ambulance Victoria is currently recruiting for an Advanced Life Saving qualified Ambulance Paramedic, this position is located at the Kyabram branch.
Kyabram is located in the centre of a rich irrigation district in the Goulburn Valley, 200 kilometres north of Melbourne and is situated between the towns of Echuca and Shepparton and is close to the Murray River.
With a population in excess of 7000, Kyabram offers affordable living with a range of schools, sport, business and retail options. The town of Kyabram is very community minded and has a small town feel with large town amenities.
The current Kyabram Branch was opened in 2010 and was recently upgraded to a 24 hour branch with 15 staff. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team and enjoy the benefits of country living.
Selection will be based on the following criteria:
• Current ALS certification
• Demonstrated high standards of patient care
• Demonstrated clinical competence
• Ability to work independently with a variety of staff, including Ambulance Community Officers
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Effective team member
• Problem solving and analysis skills
• High level of safety awareness and compliance
Conditions of employment will be as specified in the Ambulance Victoria Enterprise Agreement 2009.
The successful applicants will be required to pass a medical and physical fitness assessment as determined by Ambulance Victoria.
