Medic / Paramedic / Nurse / Paramedic Student

We are currently recruiting for staff in the following roles:
Basic Life Support Medic
Must have Blue Card (Working with Children) and Apply First Aid competency; Applicants should be completing undergraduate Nursing or Paramedic or Medicine studies, or should be able to demonstrate regular exposure to clinical emergency medicine. Applicants with Sports Medicine or Lifeguarding qualifications or Volunteer Ambulance experience will be highly regarded.
Advanced Life Support Medic
Must be a Queensland Registered Nurse, or Ambulance Paramedic with recent experience in clinical emergency medicine. Paramedic applicants are required to hold a Blue Card (Working with Children) and a tertiary degree or service-issued diploma. Applicants must be able to demonstrate competency in the delivery of independent emergency care at a high level. Nursing applicants with PHTLS and ALS will be highly regarded. Paramedic applicants with community ambulance (state emergency ambulance) will be highly regarded. A demonstrated interest or experience in clinical education would be an advantage.
Reporting to the Operations Manager – Medical Services, you will be responsible for the delivery of best practise emergency medical services at client events and venues. Some roles may also require the operation of emergency vehicles, the use of radio communications equipment, the management of emergency situations, and at some venues, the delivery of first-response rescue (including motorsport, and aquatic rescue).
Both roles have a defined ladder for internal progress, and all staff complete regular nationally-recognised skills updates and refreshers, as well as industry-leading training and simulation. Applicants for either position would be expected to demonstrate:
