Heyfield is 206 kilometres east of Melbourne. Located on the Thomson River, it is a gateway to the Victorian High Country. Heyfield relies upon the dairy and timber industries for its prosperity. It is the principal source of treated hardwood in Victoria. Farming in Heyfield is assisted by water from the Lake Glenmaggie Reservoir where you can boat, swim, camp, sail, waterski or fish. Its also within close proximity to the Apline National Park perfect for 4WDing, Camping and Bushwalking. Heyfield operates on a family friendly roster of 9-5 Monday to Friday.
The suitable candidate must demonstrate;
Clinical competence, which must be maintained and developed
High level of interpersonal and communication skills
Problem solving and analysis
Teamwork and collaboration
Willingness to work with, mentor and train Ambulance Community Officers
High level of safety awareness and compliance
Work Standards/Work Quality
Other special skills of value to the District that can be demonstrated to the panel
The successful applicants will be required to pass a medical and physical fitness assessment as determined by Ambulance Victoria.
