Location:
This role will be working an 2/1 roster, and will be long term with the chance to go permanent after the probation period.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:

Providing OH&S support for the mine site
·
Surface Ventilation Ticket
·
Commercial vehicle Licenses
·
Induction training
·
Developing and reviewing standard work procedures
·
Coordinating injury management and return to work programmes
·
Conduct training and advising departments on compliance with OH&S policies and procedures
·
Safety Audits
·
Completing statutory requirements for the Mines Department
This is a hands on role, and will require the successful applicant to have experience and knowledge of the following:
·
Understanding of the Mines Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations
·
Current C Class drivers licence
·
Excellent written and oral communication
·
Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety
·
Ability to work within a small team
MUST HAVE MINE SITE EXPERIENCE
Must be able to pass pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screen.
