Lecturer - Paramedic Sciences

$81,005- $96,193 per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation contribution. This is a full-time (36.75 hours per week) 12 month contract. An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated academic who will contribute to excellence in teaching and research within our College of Health and Biomedicine for a 12 month period. The appointee will provide innovation in the delivery of high quality course material and teaching methods within our suite of Paramedic Science Programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Specifically the appointee will have teaching expertise in the discipline of Paramedic Sciences in law, ethics and sociology topics.

Duties
Some duties you perform will include:
Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical classes to a high standard
Consult with and provide feedback to students and undertake marking and assessment
Collaborate with colleagues about teaching programs and participate in teaching evaluations

Skills & Expertise

A relevant higher degree preferably PhD.
Experience in teaching and unit coordination of paramedic focused law, ethics and sociology.
Preferably eligibility to practice as an emergency paramedic within Australia
