Regional Manager- South West

The Opportunity
St John Ambulance is looking for an experienced senior manager to join and lead our organisation in the South-West region as the Regional Manager.
As Regional Manager you will assist in the development and implementation of strategies to improve service delivery to the South-West Community. You will work alongside government and private health agencies to develop and monitor KPI's focused on achieving optimum delivery of ambulance services and organisations goals.
You will lead a diverse team that includes Paramedics, Volunteer Ambulance Officers, First Aid Trainers and administrative staff.
You will provide direction and management to ensure team members are engaged and supported. The position is based primarily in the St John Ambulance Bunbury office, however due to the nature of the position there is an expectation of regular travel throughout the region.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain positive relationships across the region
Support and develop the volunteer model to ensure ambulance service delivery and training outcomes are achieved
Ensure a culture of autonomy and independence is cultivated at sub centre committees, while offering high level support when required
Assist sub centres develop recruitment and retention strategies
Ensure the delivery of services within budget
Further build the reputation of the organisation as a provider of high quality services
The Attributes, Skills and Experiences Required:
An extensive background in corporate, health or community based sectors
Motivated leader capable of driving cultural change
Demonstrated experience managing large and diverse teams
High level competence in strategic planning and meeting objectives
