Paramedic Education Officer - Alice Springs

Alice Springs based, full-time, 38 hours per week
St John NT is the Territory’s Ambulance service and is the leading provider of First Aid related services. The Paramedic Training College (PTC) is responsible for delivering training and assessment services to student, graduate and qualified Paramedics.
 
Responsible to the Paramedic Education Manager, we are currently seeking a Paramedic Education Officer to join our team delivering high quality training and implementing the tertiary Work Integrated Learning Program (WILP).
 
The applicant:
  • Must hold a minimum qualification
    the Diploma of Paramedical Science or equivalent qualification recognised by the Council of Ambulance Authorities.
  • Hold a current Authority to Practice
    at Intensive Care Paramedic or Qualified Ambulance Paramedic level with a Council of Ambulance Authorities recognised State or Territory Emergency Ambulance Service
  • Must hold the TAE Certificate IV in
    Training and Assessment, or be prepared to achieve this qualification at own
    cost within 12 months of commencement.
  • Have experience delivering training and assessment services to Ambulance Paramedic students  enrolled though either the VET or Tertiary sectors
