We are here for the people of Greater Wellington and Wairarapa, and our emergency paramedic service is free. We care for people who are unexpectedly sick or injured, transfer patients, and provide medic support at events.
Wellington Free is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as the Heartbeat Coordinator. The purpose of this role is to improve community engagement through the provision and coordination of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) education and training to schools, community groups and corporates. This role is a three year fixed term contract, depending on funding for this area of the business.
Responsibilities would include:Liaising with clients to ensure that we understand their needs and expectations for each training event quotes, planning and resourcing all under the “Heartbeat” brand.Work with our trained CPR trainers volunteers.Liaise with clients for the sale and maintenance of AED Defibrillators throughout the Wellington and Wairarapa region.
Our preferred candidate has the following skills and attributes:Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.Competent in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.A current Authority to Practice or First Aid Certificate.
The successful candidate will be required to obtain a Resus Council Certificate; ongoing employment would be conditional upon the successful completion of this qualification.
