Employment Conditions:
The successful applicant will be appointed under the terms and conditions of the Operational Ambulance Officers (State) Award.
The successful applicant will be required to maintain a current Certificate to Practice.
The successful applicant will be required to carry out general ambulance duties and work rostered hours as required to enable a range of activities that involves both weekend work and various operational shifts.
The successful applicant will be required to enter into annual Performance Development Program.
No Ambulance accommodation is provided.
No entitlement to Transferred Employees Benefit (TEB) is provided.
Appointment to this position is subject to a satisfactory conduct and services check, which includes referee/supervisor check, a review of sick leave, ability to undertake full duties of the position and clearances from the Professional Standards and Conduct Unit, Ambulance Education Centre and Infection Control.

Selection Criteria • Demonstrated experience in the development, presentation and evaluation of competency-based education programs.

• The ability to develop, interpret, monitor and evaluate policies, procedures and service standards.
• Capacity to design and coordinate curricula in an educational environment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Knowledge of NSW Ambulance policies, practices and procedures and related legislation.
• Paramedic specialist and/or education/science/Health/Allied Health academic qualifications. Must hold Certificate IV TAE 40110 in training and assessment.
• Competency in the use of information and contemporary educational technology within the teaching/learning environment.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement fair, equitable and effective assessment instruments.
