The Opportunity

Safety Australia group has had the privilege of becoming a part of an innovative and new initiative within Sydney Trains over the past 15 months. Since June 2014 the presence of Paramedics at 15 busiest stations has decreased train delays by over 30% and has saved commuters an amazing 61 hours in delays across the entire network.
As of this month we have been successful in being chosen to continue this service on a longer term full time basis.
Stations that we will cover include, Bankstown, Blacktown, Chatswood, Epping, Glenfield, Hornsby, Lidcombe, Parramatta, Redfern, Strathfield, Sydenham, Townhall, Wolli Creek, Wynyard and Bondi.
The Paramedic Role
This is an autonomous role within a large team of 18 Paramedics and RNs.
Your role while on the stations is to provide the highest quality Healthcare assistance to all customers. High level clinical decisions will be involved and with high acuity injuries our team members need to provide the best clinical handovers to the Ambulance Service of New South Wales (ASNSW).
Personality traits of our successful team members include being Positive, Confident, Excellent Communicator, Have Pride in their profession, High energy, Humble in nature, Proactive & personable and finally have a great sense of humour.
You will be working Monday - Friday 6am-10am & 3pm-7pm.
The ideal Team Member will be customer focused and will have a strong Paramedic background, If you are a great problem solver with an ability to self-manage think on your feet in high pressure situations, then we encourage you to apply.

The Ideal Person Will Possess
2+ years Accident & Emergency experience
Minimum Diploma in Paramedical Science
Able to work to tight deadlines within strict parameters
Current Police / Working with Children's check (or willingness to obtain)
Current Advanced Life Support Qualification (desirable)
Strong Customer Services & Communication skills
