The Ridges Iron Ore Project is located in the East Kimberley, 165km south of Wyndham. The Ridges Project has recently completed shipping its first million tonnes of iron ore through its wholly owned Barge Loading Facility at the Wyndham Port. Our team is small and focussed, yet dynamic, innovative and experienced.

Requirements
As a minimum you will have Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training and Paramedic Certificate. To succeed in this role you must possess excellent interpersonal skills, a sound background in Emergency Preparedness and the ability to work within a team. Emergency Services Officer
The primary purpose of this role is:
- Ensuring the site is at a high standard of emergency preparedness
- Ensuring compliance to and development of the company’s emergency management systems
- Ensuring that evacuation drills are undertaken
- Attending to general medical issues
- Conducting regular checks on all equipment related to emergency response i.e. first aid cabinets, fire fighting equipment, signage etc
- Assisting (as directed) the HSE Superintendent in the provision of safety related activities and environmental compliance/ commitments
- Undertaking workplace inspections as directed by the HSE Superintendent
- Coordinate the sites quarterly CONTAM monitoring, as per statutory requirements
- Delivering the organisations Site Specific Inductions and other training as required
- Undertaking mining specific activities as directed by the HSE Superintendent
