Job Type: Casual
1. Minimum – Apply Advanced First Aid Certificate (Level III) or equivalent required
2. Diploma of Paramedical Science preferred
3. Casual Placements – Weekday and Weekend
4. Experience & own vehicle a must
Emergency First Aid Officers required for various organisations and events throughout Sydney, including:
1. Local councils
2. Sporting clubs
3. Community and dance events, fundraisers and elderly citizens functions
4. Corporate family days and functions
5. Schools
6. Worksites
Equipment
Equipment is provided, including but not limited to: oxygen therapy unit, AED and signage. Medics are required to use their own (approved) first aid kits, First Aid @ Events can source and provide if required.
Our Medical Personnel
1. All First Aid Medics must be accredited with a minimum qualification of Apply Advanced First Aid (Level 3 equivalent).
2. Experience in spinal management, lifting and moving and the use of neck collars required.
3. All staff will attend events in full uniform; uniforms are easily identifiable and photo identification will be worn and displayed at all times. Dress and bearing must always be of the highest calibre.
4. Paramedics, Registered Nurses Div 1 & Enrolled; Students - Nursing, Paramedic, Physio's welcome.
