Emergency Service Officers in Queensland Corporate Protection

We currently have 2 vacancies for experienced Emergency Service Officers in Queensland.

We are seeking to appoint motivated and professional individuals with a demonstrated history of being capable of constantly delivering a high level of day-to-day emergency service operations both in the field and in a gatehouse / control room setting.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Leadership and supervisor experience in a similar role;
• Demonstrated experience working in fire service related fields, that require excellent external and internal customer service & communications skills to multiple stakeholders;
• Demonstrated experience in providing a high degree of operational and administrative support, through planning and report writing. (both hand written and computer generated);
• The ability to offer unrestricted service and perform all functions and duties of Operations, as required contractually;
• Excellent communication skills and professional presentation.

A background in security supervising will be highly regarded.

The successful candidates shall be responsible, and accountable for carrying out premium emergency service related duties, in accordance with current contractual arrangements.

This position manages paramedical, security and fire staff on site.

Mandatory qualifications
• Cert III in Fire Fighting and Fire Appliance Operations (QFRS or Equivalent)
• Cert IV in Fire Fighting Supervision
• Cert IV in Training and Assessment
• Road Accident Rescue (Vehicle Extraction)
• Rope Access and Rescue
• Self Contained Breathing Apparatus
• Gas Testing Training
• Manual Drivers Licence
• Occupational First Aid certificate
• Construction White Card

Preferred, but not essential
• 4 x 4 Driver Training

Other information:
• 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotation
• Choice of Fly in Fly out, ex Brisbane OR Drive in Drive Out
