Clinical Educator Specialist Driving Standard Vic Aust.

As part of an exciting new initiative, Ambulance Victoria (AV) is currently recruiting a Clinical Educator Specialist specialising in Driving Standards for our Quality & Education Services division.
This full-time permanent position located at our South Melbourne office is governed by the Ambulance Victoria (Management & Administrative Staff) Enterprise Agreement 2010.
Reporting to the Clinical Education Delivery Manager, in this position you will deliver quality clinical education to AV staff in line with AV's strategic plans, standards and expectations. You will also assist in the development of curriculum as needed. This role will have a focus on Driving Standards.
As a Clinical Educator Specialist your responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to:
Preparing and delivering training and education sessions and individual remedial programs designed for AV staff
Utilising best practice adult learning principles, blended learning, and contemporary education and training methodologies
Assessing students, evaluating sessions, and monitoring participant progress
Building strong relationships with managers and students to facilitate quality learning outcomes
Contributing to the development of curriculum/training competency frameworks
Maintaining a high level of knowledge in relation to clinical education best practices and research
The salary for this position is $72,000 per annum plus superannuation and benefits, such as salary packaging and Accrued Days Off (ADOs). Normal business hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5pm, with any training to be delivered outside these hours agreed in advance. This position is not in uniform.
To be considered for this role, you will need experience in delivering high quality clinical health curriculum supported by an education qualification and a relevant tertiary qualification in a health discipline. You will have demonstrated experience contributing to the development and coordination of high quality educational programs and training facilitation and assessment experience in an adult learning environment. It is expected you will have knowledge and experience of workplace training and education systems, frameworks and strategy, and alternatives for the delivery of curriculum training.
You will be an exceptional communicator with advanced interpersonal, teaching and presentation skills. Strong time management, analytical thinking, and sound problem solving abilities will be essential to succeed in this role. A current Victorian drivers' licence or interstate equivalent is required.
