Purpose of Position Support and assist the Clinical Education Manager by developing, implementing and evaluating clinical and competency based training and education programs to support the delivery of the highest quality pre-hospital patient care.

Selection Criteria • Demonstrated experience in the development, presentation and evaluation of competency-based education programs.
• Effective interpersonal, presentation and group facilitation skills.
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to develop, interpret, monitor and evaluate policies, procedures and service standards.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to participate in quality improvement of programs as well as develop and implement fair, equitable and effective assessment instruments.
• Knowledge of Ambulance Service policies, practices and procedures and related legislation.
• Must hold TAE 40110 Certificate IV in training and assessment or equivalent (or be able to enrol in the qualification within a 6 month period following appointment).
• Demonstrated competence in clinical procedures having successfully completed requirements as set out for a Qualified Paramedic with a current Certificate To Practice.
