Job Description:
This mining organisation has several operational and exploration projects on an international scale. Currently having several operational sites in WA they are looking to recruit a dedicated and focused emergency services person to be part of their growing team to support the safety department while working with the crew on site.
In your role as the Emergency Safety Officer you will be responsible for contributing and building the safety culture on site. You will implement and development all OHS programs and procedures. You will provide first responder care and medical attention to any injured workers on site and will be part of the return to work program. You will be heavily involved with the emergency response department and therefore will require experience in this area on an operational mine site.

You will hold a minimum of Cert IV in TAE, industrial paramedic or Cert IV in Healthcare. You will hold tickets in confined space and working at heights and have extensive experience being part of the Emergency response team on an operational site. Cert IV in OHS would be desirable. Mining experience is essential for this position.
