OS & H Advisor

Our Client has a very rewarding full-time position for a very dedicated Safety Advisor who has both a commitment to safety and an awareness of our Clients high profile in the Western Australian community.

They provide a range of services that include ambulance and paramedic care, first aid training and products, volunteer first aid services at public events and the provision of health services to Industrial cliental.

Their key values revolve around shaping the human community. This role has a main responsibility to assist, advise and encourage the development and implementation of safety management systems throughout the organisation to promote a positive safety and health culture.

To met and maintain these values requires a person who is proactive, safety aware and who can contribute to the development, administration, and review of OSH policies and procedures.

You will need to bring to this role:

Relevant OSH tertiary qualifications with a minimum of 2 years proven experience.
Cert IV training certificate with demonstrated delivery of OSH training
Be able to demonstrate strong organizational, personal and interpersonal skills.
The ability to maintain a high level of accuracy confidentiality concerning claimant files.
Be able to demonstrate experience of working in an advisory capacity in OSH.
The ability to adapt to changes as operational activities dictates.
Be able to meet deadlines and plan work accordingly
Excellent computer skills
Have demonstrated ability to provide ongoing compliance with relevant legislation
Be ability to work well in, and contribute to a positive team environment

If you enjoy developing working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, can provide team direction, advice and support to internal business units on all aspects of Occupational Health and Safety, can identify and recommend opportunities to improve all OSH management systems and OSH policies and procedures, then this role is for you!
