Short Description: First Aid Officers, Medics and Sports Trainers required to attend Sporting Fixtures for our Schools and Community Sports Division throughout Sydney and NSW.

Detailed Description
These positions will suit experienced professionals and advanced students in medicine, paramedics, physiotherapy, or any appropriate allied health/sports studies.
To be included on our Roster;
You will be required to appreciate, and operate within, our high standards of reliability, integrity, and honesty.
You will need to hold a currently valid clinical qualifications (First Aid, Medicine, Nursing, Allied Health Care, ASNSW etc.)
Assignments are available throughout all areas of Sydney and NSW on both weekdays and weekends throughout 2013.
You must speak fluent English.
You must be able to keep written records in English.
You must maintain excellent communication with clients and patients (and their parents).
Personal presentation must be first class.
An enthusiastic and dedicated commitment to Health Care is essential.
Limited training positions also available.

Selection Criteria Essential
Have appropriate, and currently valid, clinical or first aid qualifications
Have a reliable motor vehicle and a valid Driving License
Undergo a Police Check
Demonstrate reliability, honesty, and integrity
Be committed to the professionalism, standards and ethics of Medics Australia
Meet ‘Working with Children’ obligations and scrutiny
Have, or be prepared to obtain, ‘Sports Trainer’ level 1 certificate, or better.
have, or be prepared to obtain, membership of Sports Medicine Australia
Provide (or be prepared to obtain) and maintain, a superior First Aid Kit
An enthusiastic and dedicated commitment to Health Care in Sport is essential
Hold, or be prepared to obtain, certificates in CRP/Advanced Rusus, Spinal Injury Mgmt (training available)
Be regularly available on weekends
Desirable
Demonstrate some practical experience of delivering first response First Aid
Demonstrate some knowledge of the operation and organisation of sporting activities within schools or community based clubs
