Applications are invited for the position of Ambulance Paramedic – Maffra.
Maffra is located in the heart of Gippsland, 220 kilometres east of Melbourne. Situated on the Macalister River and within an hour’s drive of both the mountains and the beach, Maffra is the ideal spot for anyone considering a move to a rural location.
Maffra is a 24 hour branch working a 10/14 roster.
Relevant qualifications and experience include
Current Paramedic qualification
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
High level of safety awareness and compliance
High work standards and quality
Willingness to work with Ambulance Community Officers when required
Qualification as a Clinical Instructor or willingness to undertake is desirable
Other special skills of value to the Region that can be demonstrated to the selection panel.
Conditions of employment will be as specified in the Ambulance Victoria Enterprise Agreement 2009.
The successful applicants will be required to pass a medical and physical fitness assessment as determined by Ambulance Victoria.
