A fantastic opportunity is available for a suitably qualified Ambulance Paramedic to work at Corryong branch. As a single officer supporting Ambulance Community Officers you will assist in providing exceptional ambulance patient care in accordance with AV’s Operational Procedures, Clinical Practice Guidelines and clinical work instructions.
Corryong is a country town located in the far north-eastern corner of Victoria, around 120 kilometres east of Wodonga and near the pristine upper reaches of the Murray River. It is famed for its rich Australian history and unspoilt natural attractions, providing a gateway to the nearby Snowy Mountains and Kosciuszko National Park, perfect for 4WDing, camping and bushwalking. Corryong operates on an 8/6 roster with call component. The sucessful candidate will be required to work as a single officer with ACO support.

Clinical competence, which must be maintained and developed
High level of interpersonal and communication skills
Problem solving and analysis
Teamwork and collaboration
Ability and willingness to work with, mentor and train Ambulance Community Officers and CERT’s
High level of safety awareness and compliance
Work Standards/Work Quality
Other special skills of value to the District that can be demonstrated to the panel
