Clinical Paramedic Trainer (Casual)

MSSSM is a provider of premium emergency response and rescue, and health/paramedical services across Australia. We are currently seeking dynamic, enthusiastic and talented individual who would like to work for MSS Strategic Medical & Rescue as a casual Clinical Trainer.
The position involves provision of clinical training to paramedic, rescue and ancillary staff. Courses range from clinical professional development to apply first aid or other higher level vocational health care qualifications. The opportunity also exists for expansion into operational relief roles.

Dedicated multidisciplinary paramedical team position
Delivery of clinical training to professional and voluntary clinical and rescue staff
Provision of emergency care as needed(when asked to assist)
Participation as a team member in clinical program development/ delivery and assessment
Delivery of health promotion and health education and development
Development / delivery of continual professional development programs to clinical and rescue staff
Mandatory Requirements:
3-5 years Clinical/Industry Paramedic experience
Demonstrated clinical training, education experience in the paramedical, health care or rescue environment
Diploma of Paramedical Science – or equivalent or preferably tertiary qualified
Hold current competencies in emergency patient care and resuscitation
Hold Certificate IV Training and Assessment
Other Desirable Qualifications:
4WD Driving Training &/or Advanced Defensive Driving Training
Drug and Alcohol Testing Certification
Professional:
Excellent customer service & interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment & autonomously
Excellent personal presentation
Sound computer skills – MS word, excel etc.
Active previous professional experience working in the ambulance/emergency services industry
Safety background, experience or exposure highly regarded
Ability to travel or complete FIFO work as required.
