Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for a qualified Emergency Services Officer to join our team in Mackay to provide the emergency service capability for the area.
The Role
In this role you will provide emergency service capabilities including specialist care and training in emergency management situations. You will liaise with various internal and external key stakeholders to ensure successful emergency responses are provided including fire fighting, paramedic duties and emergency coordination. Additionally you will assist with the development and implementation of health and safety initiatives in the business.
Requirements
- Cert IV in Emergency Medical Response or equivalent (essential)
- Cert IV in Fire Fighting operations or equivalent (essential)
- Drug & Alcohol Testing certification (essential)
- Fire Safety Advisor
- Proven superior time management skills and the ability to management multiple projects
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written), with a focus on customer service
- Strong focus on Workplace Health & Safety
