The position
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and passionate professional with recent paramedic clinical experience to join the Department of Paramedicine. You will primarily take responsibility for teaching into the Bachelor of Paramedic Practice/Bachelor of Public Health Promotion program and its predecessor program in the La Trobe Rural Health School (LRHS).
You will also be involved in providing discipline mentoring for first year students whilst conducting a range of tutorials, lectures, workshops and clinical sessions to assist students in reaching their potential. Acting as a key liaison point between the LRHS and industry partners, you will work to promote the LRHS Paramedic Program and help establish professional practice placements for our students.
The candidate
To be successful in this role you will be tertiary qualified in an area relevant to paramedic practice and possess demonstrated experience in teaching or clinical instruction. As a credible paramedic clinician you will be an excellent communicator and posses well-developed planning, analytical and problem solving skills.
Travel between regional campuses will be required for this position.
