Port Hedland, across our heavy haul railway to our mines at Cloudbreak,
Christmas Creek and Solomon.

to our customers in 2008 and since then we have exported more than 240
million tonnes.
In 2013 we opened our fourth berth at our Port
Hedland operation and the expansion at our Solomon Kings Mine will reach
completion, allowing us to reach our production target of 155 million
tonnes per annum.

An
opportunity currently exists for a Paramedic to join our HSES team at
the Christmas Creek site. Reporting to the Health Safety Environment and
Security Superintendent, key responsibilities will include the
following:
Work within guidelines to ensure efficient and appropriate response to emergency and non-emergency calls
Conducting
a thorough patient assessment and obtaining all information necessary
to make appropriate decisions consistent with the nature of the
situation to manage patient/s
Providing quality record keeping for current and future patient care
Managing time and priorities given the diverse nature of the role and multiple demands from a range of stakeholders
Assessing
operational situations in the field, developing and carrying out
appropriate plans that ensure efficient management of patients whilst
maintaining safe operational practice
Maintaining clinical and operational standards
The successful candidate will have or can easily obtain the following mandatory qualifications:
Minimum of Diploma of Health Science (Ambulance) or equivalent
Relevant experience as a Paramedic in an operational "on road" capacity or within the Australian Defence Force
Current ACLS and PHTLS qualification or equivalent
Current Manual Driving Licence
Drug and Alcohol Screening certification (AS4308)
Ability to work autonomously within a team environment
Advanced Diploma Health Science (Ambulance) or Degree in Paramedical Studies would be advantageous and highly regarded
Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) desirable
Relevant experience as part of an Industrial Emergency Response Team highly regarded
