THE POSITION
The successful applicants will perform as a member of a medical team member providing primary care to sick, injured or ill participants at events. Working on a projected casual based roster individuals will work on a variety of medical event shifts across the state.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THIS ROLE ALSO INCLUDE:
The successful applicants will perform as a member of a medical team member providing primary care to sick, injured or ill participants at events. Working on a projected casual based roster individuals will work on a variety of medical event shifts across the state.
- Manage patients and best clinical outcomes in accordance with qualifications, scope and authority to practice under the Wilson Medic One Clinical Governance and Medical oversight framework
- Work as a team member in the supervision and management of Wilson Medic One resources while at an event
- Perform vehicle and equipment checks in accordance with Wilson Medic One operating procedures as well as submit Patient Care Records (PCR) and medical records to the standards required
- Comply with clinical standards and practices prescribed by the Wilson Medic One Clinical Governance and Medical Oversight framework
ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES:
To be successful in this position you will have:- Appropriate qualifications for the advertised positions
- Experience with medical events service delivery
- Extensive experience in management of trauma and patterns of injury in an events environment
- Well organised and skilled in communicating with people
- Self-motivated and able to drive excellence in team environment
- Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays as well as travel to various regional locations in Victoria
