live.Applications are invited for appointment to the position of Lecturer in Paramedicine which will be offered on either a part or full-time, fixed-term basis for a period of 12 months (with the possibility of extension beyond the initial fixed-term period). Based on the Rozelle campus, the Lecturer in Paramedicine will have responsibility for the teaching, assessment and administration of components of the Bachelor of Paramedic Practice and other related paramedicine and biomedical programs in the Faculty. Working across undergraduate, postgraduate and research higher degree students, the position will assist in the overall coordination of the Paramedicine program and will include curriculum development and research that is aligned with the strategic priorities of the Division and School. In the role you will: Undertake scholarly undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching Undertake high-quality research of national and international standing and publish research findings Secure external competitive and other funding Contribute to the development and maintenance of productive and effective collaborations in and outside the University Make an effective and sustained contribution to the University in achieving its strategic objectives and fulfilling its operational responsibilities To be considered for this vacancy you will have: A PhD in a relevant medical discipline and/or current professional qualifications in Paramedicine, Nursing, or medicine Extensive relevant clinical experience (paramedicine or critical care) Demonstrated scholarship in teaching and learning, evaluation and assessment including an understanding of curriculum development and delivery of paramedicine A good record of, and continuing commitment to, research that has achieved national recognition and made worthwhile contributions to the field of paramedicine or health Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the capacity to communicate and work effectively with staff, students and external organisations High level organisational skills and proven ability to work effectively as a team member in teaching and research

The appointment will be at Academic Level B and will have a total remuneration package of up to $109,847 per annum (comprising salary within the range $85,080 - $100,317 plus 9.25% superannuation).
