Sydney Trains continue to implement initiatives across their metropolitan Rail network to deliver improved customer services. This is an exciting time to support this organisation with your specialised skill set.
This unique initiative is designed to expedite assistance provided to consumers who fall sick or are injured on trains or stations to both assist consumers and assist to maintain timetable integrity.
We are seeking expression of interest from Paramedics and/or Registered Nurses to provide rapid medical emergency support response, emergency medical assessment, treatment and care in and out of the hospital. The positions will be located throughout the Sydney Trains networks including; Bankstown, Blacktown, Chatswood, Epping, Glenfield, Hornsby, Lidcombe, Parramatta, Redfern, Strathfield, Sydenham, Town Hall, Wolli Creek, Wynyard
To be considered for the role it is essential for you to demonstrate the following:
 Bachelor's degree in Paramedic or Health Science and have successfully completed an internship program; or
 Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Paramedical Science
 Relevant experience and have previously practiced as a paramedic ambulance officer; or
 Registered Nurse with at least 2 years emergency department triage experience.
 Good communication and interpersonal skills for working collaboratively across all levels
 Suitable level of general health and fitness to meet the demands of the associated physical tasks.
All successfully applicants will be required to undertaken pre employment medical assessment.
