MSSSM is a provider of premium emergency response and rescue, and health/paramedical services across Australia. We are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced & qualified Advanced Life Support Paramedics who would like to work for MSS Security in our ongoing & upcoming contracts with the Central Qld Mining Sector. Casual and Full Time opportunities available. DIDO and FIFO available to Central Queensland mine sites.
If you would like to work as part of a growing team servicing our mining, energy and resources clients these exciting opportunities include duties such as but not limited to:
First response to emergency incidents
Participate and support FRT training on site
Support site HSE activities (as required)
Mandatory Requirements:
Australian driver licence
Current or the ability to obtain - Coal Mine Workers Health Scheme Assessment (Coal Board Medical – Rescue)
Standard 11 (Qld generic mining induction)
Drug & Alcohol Testing (National Accredited Training)
Certificate III Mines Emergency Response & Rescue (with the following core competencies)
PUASAR032A Undertake Vertical Rescue
PUASAR025A Undertake Confined Space Rescue
PUASAR024A Undertake Road Crash Rescue
RIIERR201D Conduct Fire Team Operations
PUAFIR207B Operate Breathing Apparatus Open Circuit
PUAFIR316 Identify, Detect & Monitor Hazardous Materials at an Incident &/or PUAFIR320 Render Hazardous Material Incident Safe
Diploma or Degree in Paramedical Science (ambulance) or equivalent
P3 Advanced Care Paramedic or equivalent
Experience in a state ambulance service or industrial health setting
Paramedics Australasia membership
Other Desirable Qualifications:
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
Qld Mining Supervisor S1, S2, S3
Rehabilitation & Return to Work Coordinator
Professional:
Excellent customer service & interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment & autonomously
Excellent personal presentation
Ability to undertake a DIDO rotational roster (12 hour day and night shifts)
Ability to work to client Fatigue Management Policies
Sound computer skills – MS word, excel etc.
Active previous professional experience working in the emergency services industry – (Fire Services, Defence Force or Mines Rescue)
