Salaried: $54,221.00 - $56,741.00 – Temp F/T – INT1.1
Joining SA Ambulance Service, you will deliver high quality health care and transportation of patients within an emergency service environment. Working under supervision of a nominated Paramedic to provide best practice emergency care to the community, you will develop your clinical competency, knowledge and confidence by participating and completing all stages of the paramedic internship. This recruitment will be for multiple intakes within the next 13 months. SA Ambulance Service (SAAS) is the provider of emergency ambulance services in South Australia, and is dedicated to providing the people of South Australia with the highest level of emergency medical patient care, treatment and transport.

Having completed an approved Bachelor Degree qualification in Paramedic practice or an equivalent tertiary qualification recognised by SA Ambulance Service, you will be able to demonstrate successful student clinical placements in paramedical practice. You will bring a strong commitment to continuous learning and demonstrate flexibility in handling changing priorities, as well as embracing new strategies and best practice techniques. Along with the ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a positive team culture, you will interact respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds. This will be supported by your ability to present a positive and composed manner even in stressful situations and to make sound judgements and problem solve in a demanding environment.
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory DCSI Child Related screening check, National Police Check, Category – Employment/Probity/Licencing, and Working with Children/Vulnerable Groups. Job Ref: 585701
