This role is initially for 2 swings on an 8/6 roster with the first swing beginning on the 24th December. There is the possibility of extension.
The ideal candidate will have fire fighting and paramedic experience and qualifications. You will be involved in the provision of medical, fire, and rescue response during emergency situations.
The successful candidate will possess:
Minimum of Certificate IV in Pre-Hospital Care, Industrial Paramedic, Industrial Emergency Response or
related subject.
Experience and/or qualifications in Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), Rope Rescue, Vehicle Extrication and HAZMAT
Drug & Alcohol Testing Certification
Fire Fighting experience
A commitment to Health, Safety and Environment
Class C Drivers Licence
The following is also desirable:
Experience in a similar role
MR Drivers Licence
Certificate in Mines Emergency Response and Rescue
