The Opportunity
Safety Australia Group has had the immense pleasure of becoming part of an innovative and landmark initiative with Sydney Trains over the past 15 months. As of June 2014, we have appointed Paramedics & Registered Nurses at 15 busy stations, which has seen a dramatic decrease in train delays by over 30% and, thus, has saved commuters an incredible 61 hours in delays across the entire network.
The Paramedic & RN Role
This role is for those passionate professionals who are seeking to improve their work-life balance by working part time and managing to find time for those other important obligations.
It is an autonomous role, working alongside Sydney Trains to ensure the utmost safety and well-being of customers/the public between the hours of either: 6AM-10AM, OR 3PM-7PM, Monday to Friday.
The primary objective of this role is to provide the highest quality Healthcare assistance to all customers. It also requires the professional to undertake operational duties such as daily incident reporting, identifying injury patterns, conducting first-aid kit audits & other duties as required.
The ideal Team Member will be customer-focused and will have a strong accident & emergency background. If you are a proactive, autonomous individual who enjoys problem solving, with an ability to remain level-headed and think on the spot, then we encourage you to apply.

The Ideal Person Will Possess
2+ years Accident & Emergency experience
RN's will possess a current APRAH Registration
Compulsory Current Police & Working with Children's Check
Current Advanced Life Support Qualification (desirable)
